A birdstrike deterrent is an aviation safety support device used to repel birds from airport operational areas in order to minimize the risk of bird strikes. The reliability of this equipment depends on its operational conditions; therefore, a monitoring system is required to continuously observe its performance. This study aims to design and implement an ESP32-based monitoring system prototype capable of monitoring voltage, current, and sound intensity as indicators of the operational condition of the birdstrike deterrent. The system consists of an ESP32 microcontroller, an INA219 current sensor, a voltage sensor, a KY-037 sound sensor, a 20×4 LCD, and a buzzer. The research stages included hardware design, software development, system implementation, sensor accuracy testing by comparing sensor readings with standard measuring instruments, and system response testing based on predetermined threshold values. The test results indicate that the system is capable of measuring voltage, current, and sound intensity in real time, displaying monitoring information on the LCD, and activating the buzzer whenever any monitored parameter falls below the predefined threshold. Therefore, the developed prototype successfully performs the monitoring function of the birdstrike deterrent's operational condition and can serve as an alternative solution to support the maintenance of safety aviation support facilities.
