About the Journal

Science: Indonesian Journal of Science is a scholarly journal dedicated to publishing original, peer-reviewed research articles in the fields of science, technology, health, and innovation. The word "Science" derives from the Latin *scientia*, meaning "knowledge." In a scientific context, the term refers to the systematic process of acquiring, developing, and communicating knowledge through the scientific method, encompassing observation, experimentation, and data interpretation. The journal accepts manuscripts covering a wide range of topics, including natural and applied sciences, engineering and technology, information and communication technology, industrial innovation, renewable energy, environmental science, health technology, and other innovation fields related to scientific advancement. In the health sector, the journal welcomes research and studies concerning public health, medicine, nursing, midwifery, nutrition, pharmacy, biomedicine, environmental health, health promotion and disease prevention, health technology, and innovations in health services and systems. Submitted manuscripts are reviewed by the journal's editorial board. All submissions must present original research findings that have not been previously published and must undergo a peer-review process. Articles submitted to this journal must meet these criteria and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts must adhere to the journal's style guidelines and will undergo both peer review and editorial editing. *Science* is published six times a year—in January, March, May, July, September, and November—with the aim of fostering innovative, sustainable, and forward-looking contributions that support scientific progress and technological development at both national and international levels.

The Indonesian Journal of Science uses Turnitin for plagiarism checks and Mendeley for reference management, and is supported by Crossref (DOI).

All published articles are open access to support the global dissemination of knowledge.

This journal expands on the scientific focus of its previous field to improve its quality and scientific contribution.
